Let me introduce myself, my name is Manolis Markakis and I have been the proud owner of Thea Restaurant for over 20 years now.
I am Elounda born and raised and all my recipes have been handed down to me through generations of my family.
Cooking has always been a passion of mine, so I opened the restaurant to share with you the traditional flavors of Greece, the classics that everybody loves, cooked the traditional way, using only authentic Cretan ingredients.

Not surprisingly, we offer a wide range of traditional Greek cuisine and a selection of International dishes. Using only the finest ingredients and freshest produce, we have always endeavored to ensure that our food is of the highest quality whilst, at the same time, being imaginative in both preparation and presentation. We are renowned for our choice of fresh fish and our flambé specialties. Also, if there is a particular dish you would like but cannot see on our menu, please ask and, with 24 hours notice, we will be more than pleased to prepare it for you.
